Deposit USDC into Hyperliquid
From an exchange to your Hyperliquid account in five steps, with the two rules that keep the money safe.
Guide 8 of 8 · 5 min
Two rules first
- Only native USDC on Arbitrum One reaches Hyperliquid. Not USDC on Ethereum, Solana or Base, and not the older bridged USDC.e.
- Deposits below 5 USDC are lost. Send a small test (5–10 USDC) first if it is your first time, then the rest.
The five steps
- Buy USDC on an exchange (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, OKX…).
- Withdraw it to your wallet address, choosing the Arbitrum One network. Copy the address from your wallet; check the first and last characters.
- Have a little ETH on Arbitrum for gas (a dollar or two is plenty). Some exchanges let you withdraw ETH to Arbitrum directly.
- On Orbafin, connect the wallet, open the Trade page and press Deposit USDC. Enter the amount and confirm the transaction in your wallet. It arrives in about a minute.
- With at least 101 USDC on Hyperliquid you can start a copy; any amount from $10 lets you place your own trade.
The deposit uses Hyperliquid's official bridge on Arbitrum; depositing on app.hyperliquid.xyz does the same thing, it is one account.
Withdrawing
Withdraw from the Hyperliquid app (Orbafin has no withdraw function, by design). It takes a few minutes and Hyperliquid charges $1 USDC. Your trade-only key for Orbafin cannot withdraw, so the key being in a browser never puts the balance at risk.
